Financial Consultant - Istanbul

Financial consultants will be responsible for building and effectively managing a network of clients across Istanbul. You will be given access to a wide range of financial products that will allow you to build bespoke investment plan for your clients, helping them achieve their financial goals.

You will play a critical role in building our brand and client base in Istanbul, through creating long term, valued relationships with your clients. You will work on a face to face basis with your clients, working with them to build bespoke investment plans and tailored financial solutions, that will enable them to achieve their financial goals. As such you will be a brand representative for our company and our ethos, thus being responsible for providing a successful and productive client experience with Dover Street Capital. 

Alongside this, we offer full administrative and marketing support, with ongoing training from our partners to ensure you are given the best opportunity to succeed. 

Duties of Financial Consultant 

• Meeting with clients and prospective clients to determine their income & expenses, insurance needs, financial objectives, risk tolerance, or other information needed to develop a financial plan

• To deal with queries from clients, advisers or colleagues, taking the appropriate action to ensure the query is dealt with in a timely and effective manner

• To conduct regular client and prospective client meetings in line with targets

• Evaluate client risk attitudes and exposure to determine appropriate investment products for them

• Communicate with other professionals such as estate agents, lawyers and accountants to grow referral network

• Building a client base from scratch through active prospecting

• You must be happy to work on your own and as part of a team and have excellent time management skills

• Ensure all clients files are maintained to Dover Street Capital compliance standards

• Keep abreast of new regulations, industry trends and financial markets

 Requirements of the Role 

• Previous sales / clients facing experience

• High level of Confidence when dealing with corporate professionals

• Ability to build, foster and maintain client relationships

• Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply both verbally and in written format

• Fluent in English

• Prior knowledge of financial products such as mutual funds, securities, international property investments and structured products would be beneficial

• Ability to relocate to Istanbul, Turkey
